Full Moon Rides are focused on casual paced fun adventures along our city's lovely pathway and parks network. Suitable for all ability levels, we only go as fast as the slowest rider.
Never been on a group ride before? Join us for a guaranteed good time. On Full Moon Rides we usually head to a local park, build a bonfire... but this time we're mixing it up a bit.
We'll meet at EcoHubYYC for a meet-and-greet and to discuss the route. We depart at 7:30 pm sharp and will try our darnedest to stick to the following schedule:
Yup, we're visiting local breweries! The plan is to spend about 60 minutes at each brewery and then spend about 30 minutes biking to the next brewery. Each brewery closes one hour after our planned arrival time, so we'll see what happens.
Bike lights are mandatory.

The future of Victoria Park is bright indeed, with plans underway to transform this part of Calgary’s core. During the day, explore Enoch Park with the bunnies. Then, at night, step into a beautiful world of light projection presented by a talented team led by David Low.
Nibbles is an illuminated interactive artwork for the young and the young at heart, inspired by Amanda Parer's internationally exhibited artwork Intrude. The seven baby bunny designs sing with toy bell sounds, and shine from within through dynamic, coloured lighting effects. The bunnies will be in their vegetable patch accompanied by giant stuffed carrots, peas and flower props for children of all ages to move around freely and feed to the baby bunnies.
Explore Enoch Park and take in Nest on your way. This is a trip that will light up your imagination!

OTHER-PORTRAITS is a collaborative sculptural project by Gabrielle L'Hirondelle Hill and Patrick Cruz that considers processes of knowledge building, familiarization and how we become acquainted with a person, place or thing. Through an inquiry into material histories, visual languages, and overlapping personal narratives, Other portraits attempts to listen to what comes next and what came before.
GABRIELLE L'HIRONDELLE HILL is a Metis artist and writer from Vancouver, BC, located on unceded Coast Salish territory. Gabrielle's sculptures and installations perform as both a material exploration of colour and form and an enquiry into concepts of land, property, and economy. Her work has been exhibited at the Morris and Helen Belkin Gallery, Sunset Terrace, and Gallery Gachet in Vancouver; SBC galerie d'art contemporain in Montreal; SOMArts in San Francisco; and Get This! Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia.
PATRICK CRUZ is a Filipino-Canadian artist working between Canada and the Philippines. Cruz studied painting at the University of the Philippines Diliman and received his BFA from Emily Carr University of Art + Design and an MFA at the University of Guelph. Driven by folk sentiment, his multi-disciplinary practise is informed by his interest in cultural hybridity, bio-politics and the paradoxical effects of globalization.
